Pavement Markings for Band Practice

Wordless Wednesday . . .

pavement markingsThe local high school band members use these chalk markings on the parking lot to indicate their set changes. A set is a group of choreographed steps to various tunes in their show.

my older daughter is in marching band, too. The past two years she has done color guard instead of playing an instrument.
This year the school has paved the parking lot and turfed the field so they are using a dot system. She carries her dot chart in her sports bra. I didn't know this and couldn't understand why she and several of the other girls kept digging around in her shirt.
Oh, I almost forgot to say, great picture. I like the different ones.
